Abstract
ETP4HPC has been created to define a Strategic Research Agenda in the area of HPC technology supply, and discuss with the European Commission on implementing HPC research programs within such frameworks as HORIZON 2020. ETP4HPC is an industry-led forum with both industrial and academic members, aiming at improving the competitiveness of European HPC industry, which can benefit the entire European economy. During this session, panelists from ETP4HPC and other stakeholders of the European or international HPC ecosystem will present and discuss several aspects of the ETP4HPC mission and vision: Explain the motivation for creating ETP4HPC and demonstrate the benefits of being an ETP4HPC member; Present current status of the Strategic Research Agenda and its main research priorities; Discuss the implementation of these research tasks; Discuss how to strengthen the international cooperation in HPC.
