CompBioMed meeting on Cloud & HPC in Biomedicine, April 27, 2017, London

02/05/2017

The CompBiomed meeting on Cloud and HC in Biomedicine was intended to provide a forum for users from academia, industry and healthcare sectors to meet with open source software developers alongside independent software and hardware vendors, in order to determine what the best selection of capabilities is to meet their own needs. It thereby helps CompBioMed to define directions in which they would like to advance their users' interests. The day  involved presentations from their Core and Associate Partners. Here is the final agenda.

The event was divided into 3 sessions, which were followed by a panel discussion. You may consult videos of the event here.

Hugo Falter, ParTec, represented ETP4HPC at this event.

CompBioMed is an EU-commission Horizon 2020 user-driven Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Computational Biomedicine.

The main objective of the CoE is to nurture and promote the uptake and exploitation of high performance computing (HPC) within the biomedical community. We are keen to form partnerships throughout the world that will strengthen the project’s collaborative output.
