The Big Data Value Association (BDVA) assisted at several meetings at Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) from September 21-23. Over these three days, BDVA took part in various meetings and workshops. During the first day of the EXDCI Technical Meeting, which took place September 21-22, Jim Kenneally of Intel gave a keynote on behalf of BDVA. He also facilitated a workshop with Michael Malms, an ETP4HPC expert, on ‘Reviews and analysis of Big Data related use cases’, which were provided by BDVA. The objective of this workshop was to align the scope of the Extreme-scale Demonstrators (EsDs) with the requirements of the association’s community.
