ETP4HPC organised a sucessful BOF session Towards European Leadership in HPC (Wednesday Nov. 18th). At this occasion Jean-François Lavignon, ETP4HPC Chair, presented the European approach to boosting the continental HPC ecosystem and related EC policy and strategy. Presentations from Akinori Yonezawa (RIKEN) and William Harrod (DOE  Office of Science) on the respective Japan and USA approaches to funding and supporting HPC allowed comparison and discussion on possible intercontinental cooperation.

More than 25 members of ETP4HPC were present at the exhibition.
