From 20/04/2016 to 22/04/2016
We have been invited to this event to give a talk about the European HPC eco-system, ETP4HPC, our Strategic Research Agenda, the main technological challenges of the European HPC technology industry and the EXDCI project.
This is the abstract of our talk:
The European HPC ecosystem is based on three pillars: technology provision (represented by ETP4HPC), the pan-European research infrastructure (represented by PRACE – Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe) and application expertise (represented by the Centres of Excellence in Computing Application). The balanced evolution of these three elements ensures the development of a globally competitive HPC ecosystem that benefits the European economy and citizen. The EXDCI project (European Extreme Data and Computing Initiative) coordinates the implementation of the European HPC strategy.
