Extreme-scale Demonstrators – 2nd Discussion Round

Outlining EsD System Characteristics

Workshop organised by ETP4HPC

23rd June 2016, International Supercomputing Conference (ISC’16), the Marriott Frankfurt Hotel, Frankfurt, Germany

9am – 4.30pm

Full-day Workshop Session

Our organisation held a workshop within the International Supercomputing Conference '16. Its objective to continue the discussion on the Extreme-scale Demonstrators (EsDs), with an emphasis on outlining the system characteristics of the future EsDs.

This is the Agenda of the workshop.

Please note that the contents of this event are different from what had been communicated originally and focused only on the EsDs (and not on the whole Strategic Research Agenda).

The Extreme-scale Demonstrators (EsDs) are HPC system prototypes built out of the technologies produced by the European HPC technology projects (and other technologies available in the market, if needed). Their objective is to verify the preparedness of the technologies available for the delivery of complete and competitive European HPC systems. The current Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) of ETP4HPC (available at: http://www.etp4hpc.eu/sra - its Chapter 8 defines the basic principles of the EsDs). If you wish to receive more information on EsDs, please contact us at: office@etp4hpc.eu
