The first EuroHPC systems are expected to go operational in the summer of 2020. In the meantime, EuroHPC JU Governing Board will need to define the access rights to the Union’s share of the available time on the pre-exascale supercomputers and petascale supercomputers and to the Union’s share of available time on national supercomputers. The Infrastructure Advisory Group (INFRAG) of the JU, is analysing different strategies/policies and will present to the Executive Director and Governing Board the corresponding recommendations. INFRAG has setup a specialised working group on Access Policy that will gather best practices and requirements and help develop initial set of recommendations for the JU.

To facilitate this process INFRAG is organising a half day workshop in Brussels on 21 October 2019, to present the findings and the directions of the Working Group with the goal to allow all users, communities, and stakeholders to comment and contribute to the final proposal. The event will be covered live through a web conferencing system giving the opportunity for those who are not able to attend it in person, to follow the proceedings and submit on real-time their opinions and questions.

The event is organised in Marivaux Hotel, Congress & Seminar Centre Brussels (Boulevard Adolphe Maxlaan, 98, 1000 Brussels, Belgium)
