High-Performance Computing (HPC) is a technology that employs the use of power computing machines (i.e. supercomputers) built from multiple processors to resolve complex problems.
Supercomputers operate using a number of processors. The application of parellel processing makes it possible to resolve problems that are too complex for single-processor machines.
